It is a very simple recipe green chili pickle. Most of the ingredients are available at home.
Green Chilies – 1 kg
Rai Dal (Rai Kuria) – 50 gm
Methi(Fenugreek) Dal – 15 gm
Hing (Asafoetida) Powder – ½ table spoon
Oil – 150 gm
Turmeric Powder – 15 gm
Salt – 200 gm
Acetic Acid – 10 ml
Wash the green chilies thoroughly and dry them completely. Cut them into the small pieces (approximately 1 inch). Cut each vertically from one side.
Heat the oil in pan. Then first put hing powder, rai dal, methi dal and turmeric powder. Then mix the chili pieces in pan. Fry the mixture until color of the chili is changed.
Turn off the gas. Mix salt and acetic acid.
Now mix the pickle thoroughly and store it in dry jar.
For the best test of the pickle, select medium spicy green chilies.
